SDCFA BRIEFS DELEGATES AT BELGIUM24.EU MINISTERIAL CONFERENCE
The SDCfA hosted a briefing for delegates in Brussels, for the the Belgium24.eu Ministerial Conference, on SDCfA activities and related partnership opportunities.
The programme included a background presentation on the SDCfA by Ms Vinny Pillay, Chief Director at the Department of Science and Innovation (DSI), followed by a reflection by the Director General of the DSI, Dr Phil Mjwara, on the strategic importance of leveraging synergy between science and economic diplomacy, one of the goals of SA’s new Decadal Plan for Science, Technology and Innovation.
The programme concluded with practical science diplomacy insights from Ms Eudy Mabuza, DSI Senior Science and Innovation Representative in Brussels.
